A Note from Ali, Founder of The Real and The Reckoned
By trade, I’m a family photographer. But when the world shifted in 2020, so did I. The pandemic cracked something open in me—I woke up from a slumber and realized that so much of what we’re told is made up, manipulated, and designed to keep us small.
Here’s the truth: I’ve always been a backwards hat girl. I’ve never had enough hats, and I’ve always loved them. That obsession is part of what brought me here. But this brand is about more than hats—it’s about freedom, faith, and remembering who we really are.
For the last twenty years, transformation, personal development, and the belief that we create our own reality have been the foundation of my journey. I’ve learned that self-expression isn’t optional—it’s how we stay alive to possibility. Country music, storytelling, and words have shaped my life, and I believe words carry power on every front. They shape how we see ourselves and the world we wake up to.
The Real and The Reckoned was born from that awakening: a brand rooted in sovereignty, soul, and truth. It’s for those who are ready to live unfiltered, stand tall in who they are, and never forget the realness of their soul.
